Emma has worked for Bury & Hilton for eight years and deals with sales and rentals. She is currently studying for a level 3 qualification in the Sale of Residential Property.
Outside of work, Emma enjoys hiking and running with her border collie.
Lindsay gained her degree from the University of Northumbria. She joined Bury and Hilton in 2020. Lindsay is based in the Buxton office and lives in Derbyshire with her husband and two children.
Outside of work, she enjoys horse riding and spending time with her family and friends.
Rory manages the Bury & Hilton offices in addition to the Bagshaws Ashbourne office. Bury & Hilton have been part of the Bagshaws Partnership since early 2019.
Having graduated from the Royal Agricultural College, Rory has gained considerable experience in rural land management across the country and has a particular interest in forestry.
He is available to advise on a wide range of property matters, valuation and professional work.

Martyn is the property manager at the Leek and Buxton offices. He has worked in the property industry for over 20 years and has been at Bury & Hilton since 2014. Martyn’s roles include the valuation of sale and rental properties as well as the sale of property and land via multiple methods.
He was born and raised in the Peak District, moving to Leek around 15 years ago. His interests include walking his miniature schnauzer, socialising with family and friends and watching Manchester United where he has had a season ticket for several years.
Ed is a farmer’s son from North Staffordshire and gained a degree in Rural Enterprise and Land Management from Harper Adams University College.
Having previously worked in Cumbria and Derby, Ed joined Bagshaws in 2001, qualifying as a chartered surveyor in 2002 and a fellow of the CAAV in 2004. Ed now manages the Bury & Hilton office at Leek as well as the Bagshaws office in Bakewell.
He undertakes valuations for all purposes, deals with the sale of rural property and land and is available to advise on any land-based issue.
Julie is the sales manager for Bury & Hilton and is based in the Leek office. She has over 25 years of experience in the industry, 15 years of that being served at Bury & Hilton. Julie is well known for her role in residential sales in Leek and surrounding areas and brings a wealth of knowledge to the office.
In her spare time, she enjoys being with her family.
Charles was the previous owner of Bury & Hilton before selling the business to Bagshaws. He is now on a three-year consultancy, working out of the Leek office.
Charles is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) having qualified approximately forty years ago. He carries out valuations on residential and commercial properties, and deals with all aspects of estate agency.
Charles is also a director at Bury & Hilton Auctions Limited, a separate firm that holds auction sales of general household furniture, antique and collectable furniture, and effects.
Cath is the Lettings Manager for both Bagshaws and Bury & Hilton and is based in the Leek office. She is a member of ARLA and has over 16 years of experience in the property and finance sector.
Outside of work, Cath enjoys socialising with family & friends, gardening and holidays abroad.
